The Gannet is an award winning independent restaurant in the newly established vibrant dining destination of Finnieston in Glasgow. Opened in October 2013, the restaurant has attracted critical acclaim in regional and national press.
Responsible sourcing is a priority for us. We are passionate about cooking the finest produce dictated by the rhythms of the British seasons and serving it to you in a warm relaxed environment. Our menus are updated daily to reflect the best in produce, and always feature meat, seafood and vegetarian options.
The tongue in cheek moniker references the stereotypically greedy indigenous sea bird, as well as the links we have with our Scottish suppliers- David from Ardunan Farm and Carl from West Bay Shellfish to name a couple.
