Tucked away in between the designer lux of Ingram Street and bustling shopping hub of Argyle St you’ll find SoHo on Miller Street. Although it’s slightly off the beaten track it’s hidden gem status rapidly became compromised as Glasgow’s savvy shoppers and office workers discovered its charms and it built a loyal fan base.
The spacious, comfortable bar is dimly lit and perfect for chilling out after a stressful few hours retail therapy. Grab a comfortable booth under the window for intimate drinks or food with friends, or sit at the sweeping bar. Treat yourself to one or two items from the excellent cocktail list and relax.
If you’d like some food to go with your drinks you can’t go wrong with an antipasto board. SoHo prides itself on sourcing great produce from Italy. Most people go for the pizza though, which has deservedly acquired a reputation as some of the best in Glasgow. Made from quality Italian type 00 flour and stone baked they’re the perfect balance of crispy/fluffy/chewy. Toppings are varied and some are a bit more unusual. Pizzas are also available to take away and they’re happy to box any leftovers if your eyes are bigger than your belly.
For something a bit more substancial they do big meaty plates and they have a good pasta selection too, with gluten free pasta available.
You’ll want to save room for pudding though, their homemade tiramisu is almost as famous as their pizza, made to the owner’s nonna’s own recipe and the friendly staff will strongly encourage you to try it…
For chilled out drinks and some of the best pizza in Glasgow don’t miss SoHo on Miller Street.
